1. Begin Selective Breeding debate:

In your table groups, we will have side A debate against side B about the following:

  1. Plants bred to increase resistance to disease in crops
  2. Cows bred to increase meat production before being slaughtered
  3. Fruits bred for a longer shelf life
  4. Animals produced to be clones

no kick off – begin debates

1. each group will have 2 minutes to debate.  Side A goes first with 30 seconds on their position.  Side B goes second with 30 seconds.  Then each has 1 minute for rebutals.  Other table groups should listen and evaluate the effectiveness of their arguments.

2. Main Idea Literature Review – The Moth Articles: examine both articles finding main points and positions for their respective sides.

3. Study for test tomorrow over genetics!
